Character:
The course was carved out of undulating and rocky terrain. Although
situated over a hill from the Gary Player CC, the Lost City's layout
is very different in character. The fairways are fairly wide, the
greens receptive and all things being equal it presents an enjoyable
golfing experience. The clubhouse, modelled on the Zimbabwe Ruins,
is one of the most distinctive buildings in South African golf.
Signature
hole:
Keep an eye out for the Nile crocodiles in the water hazard left
of the green on the par-three 13th hole. The green, shaped to resemble
the continent of African, is protected by nine bunkers.

Town and 20 minutes by road from the town of Hermanus.
